Kitchen Cheat Sheet Printables!

November 21, 2018 · 12 Comments

Creating food masterpieces in the kitchen is such a gratifying hobby.  It’s so engaging that I get annoyed when I have to leave the kitchen to look up a fact or conversion.  I needed to sit down and write a cheat sheet for all the facts and conversions for which I’m constantly looking.  Hurray! It’s finally here– five different cheat sheets that we find most helpful in our household.  I am excited to share the information I have learned as personal chef, caterer, and bakery owner to help you in the kitchen and for your next party.

Kitchen Cheat Sheet Printable Freebies

  1. Substitutions– A list of our favorite substitutions when you don’t have an ingredient at home or don’t want to buy an ingredient for one recipe.  Example- I never buy buttermilk but often need one cup for pancakes.
  2. Equivalents– Easily convert gallons to cups and tablespoons to teaspoons and more with this attractive chart.
  3. Meat Temperatures– See the proper temperatures for all types of meats and suggested temperatures.
  4. Egg Cook Times– Cook the perfect hard boiled egg or soft boiled with this chart.
  5. How Much to Buy for a Party– Stop second guessing how much food, drink, ice, cake, cheese and more to buy for a party.

Print out these handy cheat sheets and display them on your refrigerator or cover them with sheet protectors and put it in a binder.  We like to display the equivalents on our refrigerator and then have the other cheat sheets in the front of the our recipe binder.

Our recipe binder contains both the kitchen cheat sheets and our favorite recipes.  The sheet protectors have two functions: a)  they keep our recipes clean, and b)  they give us three holes on the side of our page to insert into our binder.  This handy binder is displayed on our cookbook holder so that all our information is right at our fingertips!

Thanks, they have really helped me especially when I have a party coming up. My how much to buy for a party makes sure I have enough for a party but do not buy too much.
